We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Day To Day Expenses app. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
We may update this policy at any time; changes take effect once the "Last updated" date above is revised. Continued use of the app after a revision means you accept the changes.
This policy doesn't cover third-party services we integrate with for optional features you control — such as Google Play, Google Drive backup, AdMob, and push notifications — which may collect their own data. We aren't responsible for their practices.
Information we collect
Personal data
Details such as name, date of birth, email, or phone number that you voluntarily provide while using features like profile or account management stay on your device. The app does not extract or publish this data to any server. If you share information about yourself elsewhere — social media, messaging apps — that's outside our control and becomes public per those platforms' own terms.
Derivative data
The app runs entirely on your device. We do not collect information as you use it, online or offline.
Financial data
Income, expense, budget, and goal data you enter is limited to what you provide, and it's stored on your device.
Device access
We may request access to Bluetooth, calendar, camera, contacts, SMS, storage, or similar features. You can change these permissions any time in your device settings.
Push notifications
You can opt out of push notifications in your device settings at any time.
Third-party data
If you connect a third-party account and grant permission, we may receive information from that party.
How we use your information
To create and manage your on-device account, personalise future visits, improve the app, notify you of updates, resolve issues, and provide support.
Disclosure
Since your data is stored on your device rather than our servers, we generally have nothing to disclose. Anonymised data may be used by third-party services, and third-party ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads. If we're acquired or reorganise, information may transfer to a successor entity. We may also share information with affiliated apps (Day To Day Invoices, Day To Day Vehicle Maintenance, Indian Veg Recipes, Parama Finsolutions) under this same policy.
The app may show a third-party "offer wall" where advertisers offer rewards for completing an action; a unique identifier may be shared with that provider to prevent fraud.
Tracking technologies
We may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to improve your experience on our web properties; these don't collect personal information from within the app itself. We currently do not respond to browser Do-Not-Track signals, as no uniform standard exists yet.
Third-party websites
Links to external sites or services aren't covered by this policy — review their own privacy practices before sharing information with them.
Security
Your data resides entirely on your device. Keep your device and its OS secure — no method of storage or transmission is ever perfectly secure.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us below.
Your options
You can review or change your data in-app, or remove it entirely by uninstalling the app — this deletes the app and its data from your device.
